Rumeurs de concert pour le 15 septembre et pour l'année 2012.

Citation :
HE is at the top of the Star City relaunch wish-list and rumours are swirling that Prince is close to inking a deal under which he would open the casino's new entertainment precinct next year.

Currently on tour in Europe, it's understood a break in the singer's schedule would allow a trip to Australia where he is also rumoured to be touring next year.

Star City's relaunch boss Sid Vaikunta has made no secret in the past that Prince is at the top of his list of dream acts to cut the ribbon on the new-look entertainment precinct, which is expected to open late next year.

There's also talk he may even headline the first official re-opening on September 15.

Star City said yesterday that no artists have been confirmed.

Rumeurs sur la participation de Prince au festival australien Big Day Out en 2012

Citation :

Big Day Out rumours are swirling around. And it's good news for rock fans.

Triple M's music reporter Nui Te Koha told the Hot Breakfast this morning that Blink-182 (pictured above), Queens Of The Stone Age, Eminem and Prince are all rumoured for the BDO.

"Promoters have been in Europe in the last couple of weeks. It's looking like Blink-182 is back on the table [and] QOTSA, who put on a blistering performance at Glastonbury, they're also on the table as well," he said.

It's not the first time that Blink-182 have been rumoured lately, with the pop-punksters being good things for the last BDO. Hopefully it comes true this time.

Nui also said that rapper Eminem and Prince have both been thrown up as potential candidates for the BDO as well.

"Rival promoters are saying that the BDO are sounding out Prince," he said. "It seems like a weird fit but apparently talks happened in Europe with Prince for BDO or one of the Summer festivals."

We hope the organisers know what they're doing with Prince. As one of the most elusive rockstars in the world he's been known to redefine the meaning of backstage riders.

It was reported recently that Prince backstage at Glastonbury he had a limo come around to pick him up to take him 25 metres to the stage! It could be a high maintenance gig for promoters.

We asked fans on our Rock News Facebook who they'd wanna see at the BDO and Metallica got the most votes. But even diehard metal fans think Prince is pretty cool.

"I may be a die hard metalhead, but FUCK Prince is awesome!!!," said James Norrington. "From other suggestions I agree with The Big 4, Ozzy, Judas Priest and Aerosmith!!"
